Second Annual Galerie Stroll

June 11, 6-9 p.m.
June 12, 2-5 p.m.

Enjoy a leisurely stroll to numerous galleries with exhibit openings and ongoing art sales. Feast your eyes and your palate as you enjoy the fine arts of our fair city. End your stroll with a bistro meal on the riverfront with music accompaniment.

Stroll through 8 gallery venues: River’s Edge Foundry, The Villager frame shop and gallery, the Beloit Fine Arts Incubator, the Plein Air installation at Visit Beloit and exhibits of art for sale at local eateries. Take in “A Night in Paris” at Cafe Belwah with French inspired dishes, wine specials and live entertainment. Snack or dine at Nikki’s Café, Bushel & Peck's, The Little Bistro, Bagels & More all within steps in the City Center. On Saturday see awards to plein air professionals and teen artists at Visit Beloit, 500 Public Street at 3 p.m. and awards to juried artists of the Beloit & Vicinity 53rd Show at The Wright Museum, 700 College Street at 5 p.m.

• Wright Museum of Art, 700 College Street, next to Neese Theatre across from Logan Museum off Bushnell Street. 53rd Annual Beloit and Vicinity Art Exhibition; awards announced at 5 p.m.
• Beloit Fine Arts Incubator, 520 E. Grand Avenue. Plein Air Paintings Exhibit.
• River's Edge Foundry, 605 Third Street (across Rock River). Visit the newest studio.
• The Villager, 429 E. Grand Avenue. Gallery and frame shop.
• Visit Beloit, 500 Public Avenue. Plein Air Paintings submitted by artists painting during the previous week. Awards announced on Saturday, June 12 at 3 p.m.
• Bushel & Peck's Local Market - Food You Love From People You Know, 328 State Street. Gallery.
• Bagels & More, 324 State Street. Gallery.
• Nikki's Café, 604 Pleasant Street. Gallery.
• The Little Bistro, 315 State Street. Gallery.

• Café Belwah, 500 Pleasant Street. "A Night in Paris" - enjoy a French-inspired bistro meal with wine specials and live entertainment on the riverscape patio.
• Nikki's Café, Offering specialty beverages, snacks, and live music.
• Bushel & Peck's Local Market. Offering a special French wine and cheese pairing.

Saturday, June 12

• Before 2 p.m. enjoy breakfast and lunch at various venues. (Check back soon for more details.)
• After 2 p.m. join the judges at Visit Beloit, 500 Public Street, in congratulating the winners of this year’s Plein Air Painting Event!
• At 5 p.m. go to Wright Museum of Art to congratulate the winners of the 53rd Annual Beloit & Vicinity Show.
